FINALLY met up irl with MOCA Director @klausbiesenbach after years(!!!) of following each other on IG. He gave me a tour of @mocalosangeles, the highlight for me being this wall work by #BarbaraKruger, called Untitled (Questions) (1990/2018). It’s massive, 30 ft. by 191 ft., and includes nine questions like “Who is beyond the law?”, “Who is bought and sold?”, and “Who is free to choose?” It’s up through November of 2020 and I encourage you to see it in person if you’re in LA! Inspired by the piece, Klaus initiated a whole series of voter registration efforts that will be anchored by the artwork in advance of the 2018 midterms, as well as the 2020 general election. Art inspiring change 🌟
